Favorite 13 - Just few beautiful things

It's been a lazy kind of week here on my blog. OK, maybe word "lazy" isn't the right word. I've been sick. I know right! How is it even possible after eating so great, drinking juices with TONS of vitamins and BAM! Yesterday I was in bed all day, the night before I had a slight fever and my whole body was aching, felt super weak. Ian had to take off work yesterday and was hiding with Ethan in the living room while I was resting and drinking lots of fluids. Today I'm fine, just a runny nose. Weird stuff! I have no idea what was that and where did it come from.

Alright, back to something more fun. Since my mind wasn't as productive as usual in the past 48 hours, today  I got help from my tumblr blog. It's my visual catalog of all the things that inspire me, make me smile, happy and just go "awww" or "wow". I decided why not to share some images with you guys. You can find my tumblr button here on the right ->

Dating advice from my future self

Few months ago I was looking for something to watch on hulu and this short, silly, cute show came up. It's called Dating rules from my Future self. It's nothing exciting, but there was something great that caught my eye - a  beautiful interior design of girls' house. It had so much things I love, like shabby chic furniture, decorations, colors and somevintage pieces. I'd love to have a craft room in that kind of style..you know, since I have a husband who, I wouldn't think, would dig shabby chic theme in the whole house. haha! Here are some screen shots:

My favorite things were the tub, window with glass bottles in the bathroom, her hanging lights made out of jars in her bedroom, her bedroom wall color and book pages glued to the wall, wall color in the kitchen, kitchen table, floor lamp in her bedroom next to the vanity. Did you notice any other cool details?

Obsessing over Mexican theme

frida

This little obsession started when we decided to renovate (or lets just say "make cozier") our bedroom. I was looking for an inspiration on one of my favorite web-site stores UrbanOutfitters because, lets face it, they have the best bedding...and came across few that won my heart. From that point I've been looking on the web for some other items in Mexican style, color scheme, home decor etc.  Frida Kahlo came to mind as well so that's where the outfit came about. The flowers in her hair is my favorite part!
Mexican people obviously are not afraid of colors and i LOVE it! Sometimes pop of colors is all you need to wake up in and the day will feel brighter no matter what!
